Participate in BPD and company's process, to meet strategic plans. Document and track all department deficiencies through various problem-solving techniques.

Build prototype and preproduction electric motors in accordance with the build schedule. Analyze motor defects and perform repairs as required. Work with Manufacturing Engineering to develop welding process for new motor designs.

Modify and build simply fixtures and tooling. Operate machine shop equipment, and motor lab equipment (lathe, drill press, mill, robotic welder, wire forming machines). Perform motor electrical tests in accordance with authorized procedures.

Maintain records on work performed, analyzes data collected and reports results. Requirements 5+ hands on mechanical experience must have. Associate degree or experience in mechanical or electrical activities.

Prior prototype build experience. Knowledge and theory of electric motors.
