Description:

Learn how to perform a wide variety of assignments, including, but not limited to; Machine Repair, Machine Installation, Rigging, Basic Machining, Pipefitting, Metalwork/Fabrication and Welding. Perform all operations in accordance with the specified guidelines and instructions, while exercising safety for oneself and others.

WORKING CONDITIONS-Heavy industrial environment, including, but not limited to exposure to heat, cold, dust, dirt, coolants, oils, noise, heights and confined spaces.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS-Bending, lifting, and pushing weights of up to 40 pounds or more.

Skills/Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required and must hold and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to meet Kohler Company's MVR Guidelines and maintain good standing.

Must complete technical skills knowledge review and receive a passing score on the STM (Skills Testing Device) assessment. Required to enroll in a Millwright Apprenticeship Program.

An interview and knowledge assessment required, with the job being awarded to the most qualified candidate. This position is a 4-year commitment.
